Can You Play is the site of Bankim Shah, writing from Mumbai. This page says what we collect, and why. We do not sell your information.

What we collect

If you join the letter, we store the email you give us, so we can send notes when there is something worth sending. If you write through Connect, we store your name, email, and message in order to reply.

If you create an account, we store what is needed to sign you in, and whether that email has paid for the ebook. The ebook is not emailed and there is no file to download.

If you buy the ebook, Razorpay takes the payment. We do not see or store your card or UPI details. We store the email Razorpay sends with the payment so the library can open for that account.

Cookies

Sign-in uses a session cookie. A small notice remembers that you accepted cookies. If Google Analytics is set in config.php, Google may set its own cookies. We do not run advertising pixels.
